The Las Vegas Festival Grounds located at the intersection of Sahara Avenue and Las Vegas Boulevard were designed and developed as a purpose-built venue to host the Rock in Rio music festival. It shared a similar structure and format to its Brazilian counterpart, hosting over 120 acts over two weekends. SLA Land Architects worked with MGM and the festival's organizers to transform an empty dirt lot and a portion of the Circus Circus RV Park into a spectacular outdoor venue capable of hosting this biennial event.
